BPAFADR – Baldios de Portugal is currently developing preparatory work associated with the creation of a National Community Carbon Platform, designed to support active landscape management models and the sustainable development of community territories.
The initiative arises in a context of growing need to strengthen territorial resilience, structural fire prevention, and the creation of complementary mechanisms to support the sustainable management of common lands.
The work currently underway includes:
BPAFADR emphasizes that the initiative is based on a prudent, progressive, and institutionally robust approach, focused on enhancing community governance, territorial integrity, and local benefits.
The platform is currently in an exploratory structuring phase and does not, at this stage, represent any speculative mechanism or promise of immediate financial gain.
